Article Review Process

Journal of Data Science and Innovation (JDSI) follows a structured double-anonymized peer review process to ensure academic rigor, impartiality, and the highest publishing standards.

Review Process

  • Preliminary Screening: All manuscripts are first assessed by the editorial office to confirm relevance to the journal’s scope and compliance with submission guidelines.
  • Plagiarism Check: Each submission is checked using plagiarism detection tools to guarantee originality and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Editor Assignment: Suitable manuscripts are forwarded to an editor with expertise in the subject area for detailed evaluation.
  • Reviewer Selection: At least two independent experts are invited to review the paper based on their academic and research background.
  • Double-Anonymized Review: Authors and reviewers remain anonymous to one another, ensuring unbiased and fair evaluation.
  • Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers examine originality, methodology, clarity, and the contribution of the research, providing recommendations such as acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
  • Editorial Decision: The handling editor reviews all feedback and makes a decision. Authors asked to revise must respond to reviewer comments within the stipulated time.
  • Final Review: Revised manuscripts may be reassessed by the original reviewers or by the editor before a final decision is confirmed.
  • Acceptance & Publication: Accepted manuscripts proceed through copyediting, proofreading, and final production before being published online.

This rigorous process is designed to ensure that every article published in JDSI upholds principles of fairness, transparency, and scholarly excellence.
