Author Guidelines

Journal of Data Science and Innovation (JDSI) invites contributions from researchers, scholars, and professionals. All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts should be submitted exclusively online.
  • A separate title page is required, including article title, author details, institutional affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID IDs.
  • The main file must be anonymized to ensure a double-anonymized peer review process.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Abstract length: 150–250 words, followed by 4–6 keywords.
  • Recommended structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
  • Figures and tables may be embedded within the manuscript or uploaded separately.
  • Word range: 3,000–7,000 words (excluding references, figures, tables, and appendices).

Peer Review

All submissions are evaluated through a double-anonymized peer review system, ensuring fairness and transparency. Authors should remove identifying information from the main text while retaining full details on the title page.

Types of Contributions

The journal publishes original research articles, literature reviews, theoretical contributions, and case-based studies that advance knowledge in data science and innovation.

References and Citations

References must follow the APA 7th Edition style. Examples include:

Ethical Standards

  • Authors must declare conflicts of interest and provide details of ethical approvals where relevant.
  • Data availability statements are encouraged to promote research transparency.
  • All submissions should align with principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Copyright and Open Access

Authors retain copyright of their published work while granting JDSI a license to publish. All content is made freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing reuse, sharing, and adaptation with appropriate credit.

Proofs and Publication

Before final publication, authors will receive proofs for review. Timely feedback is essential to ensure accurate and prompt publication.
