Author Guidelines

Journal of Islamic Finance and Sustainability (JIFS) welcomes submissions from researchers, academics, policymakers, and industry professionals. Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. For assistance, authors may contact the editorial office at editor@globalscientifichub.com.

Submission Process

  • All manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the online system.
  • A separate title page should include the article title, author names, affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID IDs.
  • The main manuscript file must be fully anonymized to support double-anonymized peer review.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Abstract: 150–250 words, followed by 4–6 keywords.
  • Recommended structure: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
  • Tables and figures may be embedded within the text or uploaded as separate files.
  • Word count: 3,000–7,000 words (excluding references, tables, figures, and appendices).
  • Authors are required to use the official manuscript template.

Peer Review

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-anonymized peer review process to ensure academic quality, objectivity, and fairness.

Types of Contributions

JIFS publishes original research articles, review papers, conceptual and theoretical studies, and case analyses that advance understanding of Islamic finance, Shariah-compliant financial systems, and sustainability-oriented development.

References and Citations

All references must follow APA 7th Edition style. Examples include:

Authors retain the copyright of their published work while granting JIFS the right to publish. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) , permitting unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided proper credit is given. Proofs and Publication

Corresponding authors will receive page proofs prior to publication. Timely review and response are required to ensure accuracy and prompt publication.
